As a Security Professional - Armed Manufacturing Site - Overnight Shift in Reno, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This armed post requires you to carry out your duties with professionalism and integrity, while also providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment to assess the situation and act accordingly.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and to provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and contractors at the location.
• Monitor access points and check credentials of individuals entering and/or exiting the premises, in line with site protocols.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities according to company and client procedures.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment within the manufacturing and industrial setting.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergency situations, utilizing appropriate response protocols as required for an armed patrol post.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local laws and regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
