Job Title: Administartive Assistant

Duration - 3 months with Possible extension

Location: 2-3 days in office, Redmond WA 98052
8 hours a day (40 hour week) OT would be rare
Pay : $20/hr

typical day:
• Extensive calendar and scheduling management in Outlook, including handling day-to-day updates and adapting to changes across multiple time zones. Collaborates closely with other admins and team members to coordinate executive schedules and support team needs such as equipment or access requests. Demonstrates flexibility and problem-solving skills to address last-minute changes, ensuring clear communication and timely follow-up with leaders and administrative partners.
• Someone who is very organized, can multitask and is able to prioritize tasks. A trustworthy person who is able to help problem solve and is a self starter ready to learn. Someone who asks question and shows curiosity.
• The Global Talent Acquisition team hires for all of Microsoft which essentially touches every part of the company, this role would be supporting the Americas Industry team which covers all U.S., Canada and Latin America hiring. There is lots of change and volume but makes it very exciting and opportunity rich environment so fits well for someone who is adaptable and can navigate through change.
• The performance would be measured by the execs who they are helping to support, as well as the full time admin and business manager for the team. It would be measured by following instructions from their leaders in terms of schedules, following up with stakeholders in a timely manner (other admins, team members, etc.) and overall ability to get tasks done as needed. (shipping equipment or ordering and helping to plan events as needed)
• The purpose of this team is to hire the best talent for the company.
• This role will contribute to helping enable our senior leaders and the team.

• Best vs. average: ideal person would have other organizational type role experience whether administrative, Program management or Reception type roles which have very similar skills used in this role.

• Skills assessment will include meeting with 2 execs they would support and our business manager to ask a few questions
