5 years Construction layout experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to operate simple surveying instruments and tools, such as level, level rod, and optical prisms.Ability to assist survey party chief in recording project data and compiling project notes.Ability to set survey points, hubs, and stakes for construction layout with the use of level rod, optical prisms, and other commonly used construction tools.Ability to effectively communicate with site crew on construction stakeout performed and provide guidance on required adjustments.Must be able to work at elevated heights.Extended periods of standing, walking, and lifting of up to 50 Lbs. can be expected with this position.Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment.
