The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Physical Security Specialist to join the team in El Segundo, CA . Responsibilities Lead a small team of employees performing activities to support the design and construction of secure spaces in the southern California area as well as other teammates and locations within the United States Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Develop and execute projects and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals for the group Implement plans to ensure business, technical and customer requirements are achieved Assign authority and responsibilities to employees to execute the plan Review plan execution, make appropriate adjustments, and resolve issues Monitor and report appropriate metrics to ensure performance to plan Recognize contributions of individuals and teams to improve employee satisfaction and retain a skilled and motivated workforce Keep business partners, management, and others informed by communicating project status, conducting and participating in team meetings, and providing presentations Utilize knowledge of all construction disciplines, including civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering principles Exercise knowledge of ICD 705 standards, Best Practice Guidelines for Architectural RF Shielding (Tempest Guidelines), TSCM, and construction principles Participate in physical security surveys and inspections to determine if areas meet accepted standards for safeguarding life, property, assets and classified information Provide advice and assistance to stakeholders within the business on physical security standards, especially during project development Assist in review of alteration, expansion, and new construction documentation to identify security-related items that require revision or clarification to meet applicable standards Participate in project meetings with Facilities Management, field offices, business leaders and associated construction contractors and vendors Other duties of similar scope and nature as assigned Basic Qualifications (Required) Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or have you been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years 5+ years of experience in NISP, SAP and/or SCI 5+ years of experience in physical security, industrial security and/or other programmatic security-related field 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role Preferred Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree or higher, or equivalent work or military experience Certified Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or other similar certifications Experience with program operations or project management Experience with Special Access Programs (SAP) administration Additional Details Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
