Position Overview:
We are seeking a solid, hands-on Accountant with a background in manufacturing or food manufacturing, industry to join our growing accounting team. This role requires a professional experienced in full-cycle accounting who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. The ideal candidate is familiar with internal controls and is comfortable working within a structured ERP system—SAP strongly preferred, though experience with any large ERP will be considered. A collaborative mindset and willingness to support and guide junior team members is key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform full-cycle accounting duties including:
• Journal entries
• Month-end and year-end close
• Accruals, deferrals, and reconciliations
• Fixed asset accounting
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports
• Assist with inventory accounting and cost tracking related to manufacturing processes
• Support internal control procedures by following established protocols and contributing to process improvements
• Utilize SAP (or comparable ERP system) for transactional processing and financial reporting
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure financial accuracy
• Assist with audits and provide supporting schedules and documentation as needed
• Serve as a resource to lower-level accounting staff, offering guidance and reviewing work when necessary Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or food manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting – required
  • Familiarity with internal controls and GAAP compliance – good to have
  • Proficient with SAP – strongly preferred; other large ERP systems acceptable
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to mentor and support junior accounting team members
