As a Security Professional - Financial Site - Evening Shift in Portland, OR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a financial institution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols of the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and promptly responding to situations as they arise. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, and innovation. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Communicate with site personnel, law enforcement, and/or emergency services as needed to address and resolve security-related issues.
  • Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Remain alert to any unusual activity or circumstances and report findings promptly according to established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
