About the Role:

The Practice Administrator plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of the healthcare practice within the Central Business Office (CBO). This position is responsible for ensuring efficient administrative and financial management, fostering a collaborative environment among clinical and non-clinical staff, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and policies. The Practice Administrator will lead strategic initiatives to improve patient services, optimize resource allocation, and enhance overall practice performance. By serving as a liaison between healthcare providers, staff, and external partners, this role ensures seamless communication and operational excellence. Ultimately, the Practice Administrator drives the success and sustainability of the healthcare practice by balancing quality patient care with effective business management.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare practice management or administration.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, billing processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and practice management software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration.
  • Experience working within a Central Business Office (CBO) or multi-site healthcare organization.
  • Certification in Practice Management (e.g., Certified Medical Practice Executive - CMPE).
  • Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies and patient experience enhancement strategies.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis and financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations of the healthcare practice, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow coordination.
  • Oversee financial activities such as budgeting, billing, and revenue cycle management to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards, including patient privacy and safety protocols.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop administrative and clinical staff to promote a positive and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and external partners to implement process improvements and enhance patient care services.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on practice performance, financial status, and operational metrics to senior leadership.
  • Coordinate procurement and maintenance of medical and office supplies to support uninterrupted practice operations.
  • Address patient concerns and feedback promptly to maintain high levels of patient satisfaction and trust.
