Motor Vehicle Mechanic Helper

Oak Grove Technologies, LLC, a dynamic and fast-growing federal contractor, is seeking highly skilled and motivated Motor Vehicle Mechanic Helpers to support operations at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Artesia, New Mexico. Oak Grove Technologies is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business based in Raleigh, NC, with a Test and Training Center located near Fort Bragg and Camp Mackall. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for automotive maintenance and repair, a willingness to learn, and a desire to grow in the automotive industry. As a Motor Vehicle Mechanic Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our experienced mechanics with a variety of tasks to ensure efficient operations and top-quality service.

• Assist experienced mechanics with vehicle maintenance and repair tasks.
• Perform basic inspections and diagnostics on vehicles.
• Help with the disassembly and reassembly of vehicle components.
• Keep the workshop clean and organized.
• Assist in ordering and managing parts and supplies.
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Learn and develop skills in automotive maintenance and repair.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A strong interest in automotive maintenance and repair.
• A willingness to learn and take direction.
• Basic mechanical knowledge or experience is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• A valid driver's license is preferred but not required.
