Marketing Coordinator Job Description:Join the team at one of New England's most illustrious resorts. Cliff House Maine is looking to add a dynamic, guest-centric, brand ambassador to its marketing team. The Marketing Coordinator role is a critical component of our resort operations, working with our guests, internal departments, 3rd party partners and brand agencies on a daily basis. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with great initiative, a passion for Maine and extolling our brand. This role will touch upon all areas of marketing resulting in a 360-degree involvement in our brand.This year-round, full-time position operates fully on-site and reports to the Director of Marketing + Programming. Starting wage is between $22 - $25 hourly, based on experience.Job Responsibilities Include:- Daily interaction with internal departments to brainstorm ideas, receive briefings, facilitate collateral development (internally and through agencies), record keeping and distribution.- Monitor and produce brand materials for in-house use following Cliff House Maine brand guidelines.- Daily monitoring of and updates to content for all marketing channels: cliffhousemaine.com, in-room television and print content, promotional + informative property signage and flyers, 3rd party websites, public relations efforts, digital + print advertising, social media, shopify retail site, etc.- Administrative support for marketing department: proofreading, invoicing, trafficking, databases, emails, internal communications, mail/deliveries, frequent signage/flyer changes and distribution- Participate in briefs and status calls with brand agencies (Digital, PR + Social), maintain calendar of content changes, facilitate project development and roll-out of completed projects- Coordinate site visits for public relations guests (amenity, welcome note, addressing of special needs) and assist with on-site photo shoots (communication with departments, props, scheduling)- Assist with creation and execution of special events programming.- Organize and maintain photo library- Coordinate print collateral, amenities and brand materials (ordering, proofing, pick-up and invoicing)- Create and Maintain year-round calendar for programming, produce monthly 'At The Helm' bulletin and assist with development and production of newsletter (The Navigator).- Monitor competitive properties, news and social media for relevant content.Talents which will serve this role well:- Strong organizational and time management skills- Experience in hospitality or service-related industry, a plus- Hands-on, takes initiative and self-starter- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize assignments- Strong verbal and written communication skills- Detail oriented - Professional and reliable- Passionate about how marketing influences a guest experienceRequirements for this role:- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint) and the Adobe Suite (particularly Illustrator, InDesign + Photoshop)- Ability to learn new software/technology- Basic familiarity with development of digital, audio and print communications- Familiarity with social media content generation and analysis- Basic knowledge of online campaign and site performance (g4) analysisNeeded AttributesExcellent verbal and written communication ability, enthusiastic, flexible and a good sense of humor.
