Job Description

A healthcare professional with LPN/LVN licensure is needed to provide essential nursing support in an elementary school setting. This contract position is available for the complete school year (CSY) and is located in West Chester, PA, with consideration also given to candidates from Lansdale, PA. An RN may be considered for this role as an alternative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students, including assessments, medication administration, and health monitoring.
• Manage health plans and communicate effectively with school staff, students, and families.
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with school health policies.
• Assist in managing medical emergencies and provide health education when applicable.
• Collaborate with school personnel to support a safe and healthy learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Current LPN or LVN license; RN candidates are also welcome to apply.
• Experience working in pediatric or school health settings preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with children and staff.
• Knowledge of school health protocols and state regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
