Were currently seeking an experienced Fractional HR Specialist to join our team and support a diverse portfolio of clients on a part-time, flexible basis.Position OverviewAs a Fractional HR Specialist, you will serve as a trusted HR advisor for clients across industries, supporting day-to-day HR operations and helping drive people strategy. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-client environment and enjoys a high level of autonomy and impact.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary HR point of contact for assigned clientsDevelop and implement HR policies, handbooks, and compliance practicesAdvise on employee relations matters including performance, discipline, and investigationsOversee talent acquisition, onboarding, and offboarding processesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsSupport benefits administration, leaves of absence (FMLA, ADA, etc.), and payroll coordinationSupport and complete payroll for clients as neededFacilitate HR audits, risk assessments, and training sessionsQualifications5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in small or growing organizationsSolid understanding of employment law and HR compliance (multi-state knowledge preferred)Strong communication, organizational, and client-facing skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independentlyPHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferredExperience using HRIS systems such as Paycor, ADP, Gusto, or BambooHRExperience using Google Workspace and Microsoft SuiteExperience running payrollConsulting or fractional HR experience is strongly preferredSchedule & CommitmentFlexible hours, approximately 1025 hours per week depending on client loadWork within operating hours of 8AM-5PM ESTWhy Join Us?Flexible, remote work environmentDiverse client portfolio and meaningful workOpportunity to grow within a mission-driven teamSupportive, collaborative culture focused on professional excellencePay range: $25-$30/hour based on experience
