We are currently seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible physicians for two distinct opportunities in Gainesville, Georgia: one in Hospice Care and one in Palliative Care . Palliative Practice Overview:

  • Inpatient - consult only service
  • Outpatient Palliative Care clinic
  • Work with a team to provide symptoms management and goals of careon-siteat our Gainesville campus
  • Teleservice provided to satellite campuses
  • Desirable schedule Monday through Friday 8am-5pm
  • Service Line supported by dedicated:
    • Advanced Practitioners
    • Licensed Clinical Social Workers
    • Chaplain
  • Growing program with opportunity to work with residents and fellows

Hospice Practice Overview:

  • Dedicated hospice team serving patients for 40 years.
  • Inpatient Hospice Unit at main campus- 7 bed unit
  • Free standing 16 bed hospice currently under construction just minutes from main campus
  • Physicians support nursing and interdisciplinary staff by providing oversight for home hospice and in-home palliative care
  • Desirable schedule Monday through Friday schedule
  • Service Line supported by dedicated:
    • Advanced Practitioners
    • Licensed Clinical Social Workers
    • Chaplains
    • Designated nurse staffing for after hour, weekend & holiday care
  • Growing program with opportunity to work with residents and fellows

Working together with Physicians like you:

  • BC/BE Hospice and Palliative Care
  • Active Georgia license or ability to obtain unrestricted license
  • 2 years of post-fellowship experience preferred, but not required
  • Passion for quality and patient care
  • Functions well in a team environment, contributing to and supporting organizational goals and initiatives
