Job Description

Infotrend Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Forensic eDiscovery Analyst. This role provides critical technical expertise in the acquisition, preservation, analysis, and presentation of digital evidence in support of complex investigations. The selected professional will perform forensic examinations of electronic media including computers, mobile devices, and cloud-based systems while ensuring strict adherence to chain?of?custody and evidentiary integrity standards.

Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Perform forensic eDiscovery tasks in support of inquiries and investigations. The duties primarily involve recovery, extraction, analysis, documentation, and litigation support of data from electronic devices such as computers, smartphones, mobile devices, hard drives, optical media, USB drives, etc., as well as performing data acquisition and analysis from Cloud/Web?based systems such as MS 365. Create related reports and chain?of?custody documentation, produce data packages and exports for ingestion into eDiscovery/litigation support software systems.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an eDiscovery role encompassing mobile forensic imaging and analysis (Cellebrite UFED/PA, GrayKey, Oxygen Forensics, Magnet AXIOM, etc.).
• Experience with hard drive imaging and targeted data extraction using tools such as EnCase, FTK Imager, etc., following proper acquisition protocols and chain?of?custody procedures.
• Experience with collaboration and messaging platform data (Microsoft Teams, Skype, Slack) and converting exported data files (CSV, JSON, or HTML) for ingestion into eDiscovery and review platforms using tools such as Message Crawler.
• Experience preparing detailed technical reports for use in investigations, administrative proceedings, and court.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Computer Forensics Examiner certification (e.g., Cellebrite CCO/CCPA, EnCE, GCFE, CCE, or CFCE).
• Experience with case management tasks, including oversight of case data and ESI preservation.
• Experience using Litigation Holds software.
• Experience using preservation tools such as Microsoft Purview.
• Experience collecting and preserving data from network file shares using industry?standard tools and techniques.
• Experience with cloud data acquisitions from services such as Microsoft 365.
