Responsibilities

• Act as a virtual CISO for key clients, providing executive-level guidance on cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and compliance.
• Translate complex security concepts into business language for C-suite and board-level stakeholders.
• Lead security posture assessments and maturity roadmap development.
• Collaborate with internal MDR teams to ensure services align with client needs and evolving threat landscapes.
• Guide clients on incident response planning, threat modeling, and detection engineering.
• Help clients interpret MDR outputs and integrate them into broader security operations.
• Act as the technical executive sponsor for our Channel go-to-market strategy.
• Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and client briefings.
• Contribute to whitepapers, blogs, and other content that showcases our security expertise.
• Stay current on emerging threats, regulatory changes, and security technologies.
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with CISOs, CIOs, and other senior stakeholders.
• Support account teams in renewals, upsells, and expansion opportunities by demonstrating security value.
• Serve as an escalation point for strategic security concerns.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a CISO, Deputy CISO, or senior advisory role.
• Deep understanding of MDR, SIEM, EDR, threat intelligence, and incident response.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001).
• Experience advising Fortune 1000 or mid-market clients across multiple industries.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially with executive audiences.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP) preferred.
