Commercial Electrician
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of electrical systems in commercial settings, with proven skills in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This role requires a commitment to safety, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings, including wiring, panels, lighting, and outlets.
Work with electrical components such as conduit (EMT, Rigid), switches, transformers, and breakers.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Ensure all work complies with NEC, state, and local electrical codes .
Perform testing and inspections of electrical systems to confirm proper functionality.
Collaborate with contractors, supervisors, and other trades to complete projects on time.
Safely operate power tools and hand tools.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Provide recommendations for system upgrades or improvements.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician .
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
Skilled in conduit bending, wiring, panel installation, and electrical fixtures.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
OSHA 10 certification (preferred).
Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
OSHA 30 certification or other advanced safety training.
Experience with large-scale commercial projects.
Scissor lift certification or experience working at heights.
