Status: Part Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Summary of the Position: This is an hourly, part-time position providing mentorship and advocacy for youth and families throughout Westbrook. The ideal candidate will be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in community, school, and home settings. The primary responsibilities of the Advocate are to initiate, organize, plan, develop, and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families. All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap-around model. This position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, mileage ($0.50/mile), and activity reimbursement. Hourly Rate: $20 per hour Qualifications/Requirements Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required. Prior experience in community work and knowledge of community resources. Experience working with at-risk youth Excellent verbal and written communication skills Basic Computer Skills; knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) is a plus. CPR/First Aid Certification is a plus Bi-Lingual/Spanish Speaking is a plus Reliable transportation with current auto coverage and valid driver's license is a requirement.
